Thanks to your generosity over the past several years, we have increased technology in our classrooms in exciting ways. In our changing world, it seems that technology becomes outdated shortly after it is purchased and installed. In just over a year, the Windows 7 Operating system will reach the end of its life and our DR campus will be required to upgrade to Windows 10. In order to accommodate the upgrade, it will be necessary to replace most of our current computers -that?s approximately 100 computers campus-wide! This years 'Hand Raising' will provide funds that will furnish the first phase of this transition which we expect to cost at least $20,000-to replace the student computers in our lab and in our classrooms.
